Nautilus looking to hire and other things

Posted by Nautilustattoo on September 26th, 2011

Ok, so starting off the new news-feed with a bang, I’m pulling all of my knowledge as I acquired while getting a minor in English to bring you a semi-coherent Nautilus Tattoo update.

We are currently looking to hire another full time tattoo artist. Pretty much we are seeking someone with a strong portfolio with a strong drive to learn and constantly grow as an artist. If you or someone you know maybe interested in this position please send Jim an e-mail at with all the important information as well as a place we can take a look at your portfolio.

The first day of fall happened and its no longer shorts weather, but we’ll still be seeing those people who can’t give up that summer is over for another few months. But now that beach season is over, its now a better time than ever to get tattoo. Why? you may ask. Its simple, if you’re healing a new tattoo, going swimming or sun bathing is completely out of the question. Sun exposure can destroy a tattoo and if you are healing a tattoo its even worse. It can fade a vibrant tattoo and turn it into a big blob in no time flat. Also swimming can cause infections if you are healing a tattoo. Remember: you don’t want your new tattoo to ruin your beach trip and you don’t want your beach trip to ruin your tattoo.

Last week Stretch started this tattoo:

It was her first tattoo and the scales did in fact go all the way around her leg. The stenciling itself took around 4 hours to apply before any tattooing happened. Once this is finished we’ll be posting the pictures of it. Cagoske souostrovi

That’s right folks, we have finally launched the new and improved! As you have probably figured out since you are reading this post, is this is the totally new Nautilus Tattoo news feed. We will be updating this regularly with all the goings on at Nautilus, including events and guest artists. One new feature that we will be doing is posting in progress photos of some of the larger scale stuff we’ve been working on.

So please keep your eyes peeled to this page for all things related to Nautilus!

On a side note we would like to extend our greatest thanks to our new webdesigner Ian Robinson. He does phenominal work. If you have a moment we would recommend checking out his personal site with examples of other sites he has built here.

Take a look around and we hope you’ll be happy with the new layout and format of the site!
